In 2007 the International Zaz Festival for Performance Arts was held in full, providing a 10-day meeting and artistic experience where artists from Israel and all across the globe functioned together in various venues in Israel. Artists from England, Poland, Croatia, Serbia, Ireland and Israel participated. The performance art events were held in a range of local sites: Performance Art Platform and New Central Bus Station of Tel Aviv, in the Nachlaot neighborhood and Machane Yehuda Market in Jerusalem, as well as Museum on the Seam and Museum of Underground Prisoners and the Ma'abada Center for the Performing Arts, and also "Hanger Adama" in Mitzpe Ramon and the surrounding desert region.
