The 2011 International Zaz Festival for Performance Arts hosted artists from Mexico, China, the Philippines, Canada, Spain, Italy, the Ukraine, and Israel. Art events and workshops were held in Tel Aviv on the Performance Art Platform and New Central Bus Station, and in Haifa, including the "Tiberius 15" community house, Hagefen House, several locations in Wadi Nisnas, and the German Colony neighborhood.

Additionally, a special meeting was held was Tamar Raban from Israel, Ahlam Hijazi from Palestine, and Paloma Tores from Mexico.
